Safety Gear

Required for every session. Provided on site. No exceptions.

Required safety gear

What every smasher wears

ItemWhy
Hard hatShards travel. Things ricochet. The hat is non-negotiable.
Safety gogglesGlass dust is the most common cause of post-session discomfort. Eyes stay covered.
Heavy-duty glovesEven with shoes on, broken glass and your hands shouldn't meet.
Coveralls (optional but recommended)For the big sessions, particularly with electronics. Some of what comes out of a TV is dusty.

Required clothing (you bring)

  • Closed-toe shoes — sturdy sneakers, work boots, or similar
  • Long pants — jeans are ideal
  • A shirt with sleeves — long or short, but sleeves
  • Hair tied back if it's long enough to swing into your eyes

What we don't allow in the room

  • Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, open-toed anything
  • Shorts or skirts above the knee
  • Tank tops or anything sleeveless
  • Loose jewelry that could swing and break
  • Phones inside the room (we hold them at the front)

If you have specific medical concerns

Tell us before booking. The activity is physically demanding — your heart rate goes up, you'll sweat, you'll work your shoulders. People with shoulder injuries, recent surgeries, severe asthma, or pregnancy may want to talk to their doctor first. We're happy to talk through any concerns.

Cleanup

You don't clean up. That's our job. You walk out, we go in.
